Hello, I am the mother of a 16 1/2 year old boy who was diagnosed with VCFS at the age of 2. He was born with a small hole in his heart and when they did his surgery the noticed that he had no thymus gland. My son is twice exceptional and dysgraphic. He has accommodations but I'm struggling with the school to provide teaching him write skills. At this particular school they recognize dyslexia but struggle to deal with dygraphia. All there resources regarding teaching are in the area of reading. My son reads exceptional well above grade level... Read more

16 year old with vcfs taking drivers ed. classes
we are on day 11 of drivers education. my daughter,who has vcfs, has done great so far. we are reading the test orally to her. the instructor goes over the material each day and then immediantly gives a quiz. this is really hard because there is no practice time. my daughter is not an audio... looking for a boarding school for a ADHD Kid
My son is 13 years old. We found that he had ADHD when he was in 3rd grade. We have been trying counsouling, tutering, encouraging and being postive and so on but we have failed.
