Talkng to my sister about my delay nephew , don't want to fight with her..
Here is the situation, My nephew is delay.., a year behind. He came a long way. He is now 6, the parents won't let him grow up. He still sleeps with them. Won't let him play by himself.. in his own room. Sometimes they feed him like a baby. ( he can eat on his own). I am worry the kid will get tease one day. Call him a "Momma boy". My parents and I have try before, its like walking on eggshells with my sister. Not good. Any suggestions is welcome.
Well you are right. Everything they are doing is hurting the child; and they are doing everything the exact oposit of how my parents raised me. The one and main rule with me when I was six was, no sleeping in the same bed, and they need to let him play by himself; his parents cannot do everything for him, otherwise they are going to hurt him mentally in the long run.
