Hi there

When were you diagnosed with this?  Do you need information this disorder?

I actually did find a poem about Non-verbal learning disorder on youtube!

Here is the link to the poem I found.

My life in the Nld Syndrome

Hi! I am Marisa and I wrote this poem a feww months ago. I was diagnosed with NLD at 8 years old and I have grown up to be frustrated with this disability. so i wrote a poem expressing how i felt.......

We are on the autistic spectrum

But alot of people just consider me as dumb

We are constantly misunderstood

I feel like the outcast of the neighborhood

It's hard for me to make friends

Because every time it always ends

In class it can be so hard to learn

I mess up and the teacher gets frustrated and stern

I am socially alkward and quirky

And I'm clumsy and not always sturdy

My social skills are pretty bad

Which leaves me rejected and feeling sad

I try to be kind and don't have bad intentions

but my behavior can be loud annoying and disruptive

which can lead to alot of detentions

I do my best to fit in

But in the end I never win

I'm left rejected

and rarely accepted

I try my hardest to read facial expressions

But when I question it People see it as rude

though I don't have bad intentions

Every single day I try my hardest in school

but I always end up looking like a fool

I often get teased and picked on

to the point where I close my eyes and wish I was gone

to a better place

where I could move on

I cry often because I feel lonley

I wish I wasn't different

If only....
