How do I know if my child has a learning disability?

Even if your child is exhibiting some of these symptoms, it does not mean your child has a learning disability. If you think your child may (and your child is school age), you should request the school do an evaluation to test for learning disabilities.

Can you tell us more about what is going on with your child and maybe we can give more detailed suggestions. As Eileen has said...there are lots of resources and information here on Friends of Quinn. Write down your child's symptoms or challenges so that when the time comes for an evaluation, you will have that information ready.
