What causes stuttering?
Is it the right or the left side of the brain that causes stuttering?

The exact cause of stuttering is not known. There are a few theories:
Anxiety
Psychological Causes
Genetic Factors
Since stuttering often runs in families, it is considered to be genetic, but symptoms also worsen during times of high anxiety or emotional distress, therefore some contribute stuttering to anxiety or psychological causes.
