I do weekly research, the school knows my face well (lol), Vocational rehab, SSI, Specialists around the country for the various medical issues, emotional issues, Learning differences, ect....I'd be...

Subject: think first
There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.' One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her...

1/2 credit to graduate

We had Tony's IEP meeting the other day and I found out he needs an extra 1/2 credit to advance to 11th grade. Tony was out of school for a few weeks in the biginning of the year due to a hospital stay. Anyway, we are going to use "A Different Life" to gain that credit. Here is the syllabus his teacher came up with
Text: A Different Life by Quinn Bradley and Jeff Himmelman

1. Read text daily
2. Take notes

Abnormal MRI

The nuerologist called because they found an "abnormality" on Tony's recent MRI. Have to wait to see the nuerosergeon to find out what it means. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers please. I'm sure it's going to be nothing to worry about. Just another "bump" I call it. :)

My son is now reading Quinn's book

I finished reading Quinn's book and now my son,Tony, who has VCFS is reading it. He is doing it as a book project in school. He's in 10th grade. I called his teacher and she thought it would be a great project for him, besides he wouldn't have read it on his own:) Mom knows how to get things done! Well he is enjoying it anyway and I'm sure he will learn alot and see that someone else has had the same experiences and feelings as him.
