    Hi there

     

    Nice to meet you...wow...I am really awed by your story.  I am around your sister's age...I graduated high school in 1982....and I think we have come a long way in understanding the different disabilities.  My youngest son has autism and my eldest son does not...and I often wonder how my older son views being a sibling to someone who has a disability.  I am proud that...my eldest is wanting to volunteer with some groups who help out kids with autism...like buddy ball.  But I always worry...am I spending enough time with each of them...is it all fair...things like this.

     

    I would be very interested in your take on how things were for you growing up and how you viewed your sister when you were a kid. If you are at all interested you could share more of your story about the early years of growing up with your sister. I know it would help a lot of people including myself.
