Now this is the kind of story I love to hear about! I always say that the best advocate for your child is YOU the parent. Your child's education is always worth fighting for. One of my friend's had an adage which I printed out and put on my wall and that is:
If my child cannot learn from the way he is taught then he must be taught the way he can learn!
Seems like common sense to me but so many systems keep wanting to force a child who has unique challenges to learn the way everyone else does. And that just may not work. You have to individualize and tailor education so that every child has the opportunity to learn.
So glad this educational arrangement is working. Please keep us up to date on how your daughter is doing.
