unerstanding movies

i never understand movies. i don't ever get the endings of movies or anything like that. this embarasses me because i ask a lot of questions and people probably get annoyed that i don't ever understand them. i think i've got a hard time putting the pieces together and looking at the full picture and outcome. no matter how hard i concentrate i don't understand about 50% of movies i watch! but i still love watching them. i don't know what causes this at all.
