There are tears that flow with much sadness
There are tears that flow with much love
There are tears that flow with much laughter
and for those that know, they come from the
weather girl
God sent her to us for a reason
Her future to us is unknown
Her love for Mother Nature
makes her world all a glow
She has a new job you know
With paper and pencil in hand,
she scribbles her notes for her new job
No need to wonder what to wear
if it's cold, hot or rain
The weather girl is on the job
Like the rumbles of thunder, the flash
of lightening..the weather girl is ready
to prepare.
I hear the phone ringing
"Gram, it's going to be very cloudy, maybe rain,
windy, it's very very darK here, is it at your house?"
"No weather girl, it's not dark here."
"Oh you better be careful, it might make thunder
and lightening, it will be high 70's, not today but
tonight it will rain, got it?"
"What should I do if it starts to rain and I'm
not home?"
"You will get really wet, so stay home, you never
know when the thunder will come, maybe lightening,
you never know, right Gram?"
"You are the weather girl, don't you know that?"
"I'm just a girl,don't you know that? I can't help
you, I live too far away."
"Well what kind of weather girl are you anyway?"
"You kiddin me, right Gram?"
"No, I'm serious, weather people are suppose to
know these things."
"Well, I'm not people, I'm only a girl silly Gram,
I have to go, see you when I call you again, bye."
(half hour later) the phone rings
The weather girl is whispering
"Just make sure you watch for black clouds
and tommorrow will be windy, thunder maybe
lightening. Cover your head, I see you tomorrow
when I call , bye."
