Blowing bubbles in the sun, a light breeze
makes them float far away, I feel like I am
in one of those bubbles, when I look through
them in the sun, there is a rainbow of colors,
it makes me laugh and giggle inside..
The the bubble will hit something and pop
All the colors just fly away into the breeze
Why can't they stay, I want to keep the
rainbow bubbles, it's my own little world
It's full of smiles, sunny skies, so many colors
that fill the sky, no one is reminding me what
to do, no laughing from the kids at what I do
I love to float high in the sky and look all around
in my rainbow world
I'm free and floating way up high, I can
almost touch the sky
As I get older the bubbles seem to pop much
quicker, I seem to understand that they can't
stay with me forever, I'm growing up and will
try to make the real world, my rainbow bubble
and when it pops, just breath in the sunny clear
air and make another bubble world
Only this world will be the one I will keep
The colors will stay with me forever and
never pop and float away
I'm growing up and it's hard to do but I will
always love to blow bubbles
and watch them float away....
