Blowing bubbles in the sun, a light breeze

makes them float far away, I feel like I am

in one of those bubbles, when I look through

them in the sun, there is a rainbow of colors,

it makes me laugh and giggle inside..

The the bubble will hit something and pop...

I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Rachel is a special little girl, it seems at times I can hear her thoughts by just watching her...she has always loved to blow bubbles and today, she was and that poem just came out of my head. She starts 6th grade on Aug.31st and is a little nervous and I just put her in one of those rainbow bubbles. Growing up is hard for VCFS children but they are a gift for sure. Barbara

    Oh my...what memories this conjures!

My son loves bubbles and blowing bubbles with him was a way for me to connect with him.  He also had oral motor issues going on so...when he finally learned how to blow a bubble for himself...it was a big huge deal!

Your writing is beautiful...I hope you keep sharing here.

Thank you for your kind words. As my granddaughter, who is a VCFS child, is growing I watch and learn from her, all about her world. Bubbles for her seem to be her quiet and happy time. I hope she blows bubbles forever and I will with her and the same for your son.

I will keep sharing my poetry...Barbara Colley
