I think we all feel like this from to time. We invest so much of our time and energy into something and it either doesn't work out or works so much slower than we want it to. We have to remember all those things that did work and are working. It is important to create a balance, knowing and appreciating that which is working (even if slowly) and use these as motivation to continue working toward our dreams.
As long as I can remember, I wanted to be a writer. I would look at books and magazines and wish that my articles or my stories would appear inside them. When I was forty years old, I was first paid for writing and now I write every day and have a book being published. Sometimes our dreams don't work on our timetable. The important part is that I never let go of my dream and now it is a reality. Sometimes it just takes a while.
Hang in there and keep moving forward toward your dreams. Someday you will make it.
