The Cottage School

Location: Roswell, GA

Mission: Building a sense of self for students with special learning needs through academic and experiential programming, The Cottage School prepares individuals for fulfillment of their true potential as confident, productive, and independent adults.

 

Delaware Valley Friends School

Location: Paoli, PA

Mission: Since 1986, Delaware Valley Friends School has pioneered secondary Quaker education for students in grades 7-12 who have learning differences. The 209 students who attend DVFS experience a co-educational, college-preparatory curriculum where innovative teaching techniques are a hallmark.

 

Diamond Ranch Academy

Location: Hurricane, Utah

Mission: We are dedicated to helping troubled teens and their families make lasting, life-long changes in a safe, controlled, and loving environment.

 

The Forman School

Location: Litchfield, CT

Mission: The Forman School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school for boarding and day students with identified learning differences. Based on his or her unique learning profile, Forman develops the whole student so that every graduate becomes an educated, confident, self-advocate throughout life.

 

The Gow School

Location: The border of South Wales and East Aurora, Buffalo, New York.

Mission: The Gow School maintains and operates an independent, not-for-profit boarding school for the education of young men, grades 7-12, using a college preparatory curriculum with emphasis on the remediation of dyslexia through reconstructive language.

 

The Hamilton School at Wheeler

Location: Providence, RI

Mission: The Hamilton School at Wheeler is a unique place, a 'school-with-a-school' contained within The Wheeler School in Providence, RI. Founded in 1988 to serve bright elementary-grade children with language-based learning differences, preparing children for mainstream educational settings after they leave Hamilton is a primary goal of the program.

 

Hill Top Preparatory School

Location: Rosemont, Pennsyvania

Mission: The mission of Hill Top Preparatory School is to prepare students in grades six through twelve with diagnosed learning differences for higher education and successful future.

 

The Howard School

Location: Atlanta, GA

Mission: The Howard School educates students with language learning disabilities and differences. Instruction is personalized to complement individual learning styles, to address student needs, and to help each student understand his or her learning process. The curriculum focuses on depth of understanding in order to make learning meaningful and therefore, maximize educational success.

 

The Lab School

Locations: Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD

Mission: The Lab School of Washington Day School exists to educate intelligent, often gifted, children with moderate to severe learning disabilities, so they can return to the mainstream as soon as possible and become productive citizens.
