In the two years that we have had Daisy, Max has come so far from his early days of being frightened by dogs. He is participating in going for walks with her, feeding her, and brushing her. Daisy shows Max affection and Max gives her love in return. There is just nothing like the unconditional love which is given by a beloved pet. Max has overcome a lifelong fear and has also gained a new friend in the process. It has been a win-win scenario.
How about you? Do you have a family pet you would like to talk about? How have your pets been beneficial to you or your child? Please do share your story. We love to hear from you!
