You are so creative! Your house must be full of laughter and mirth, a never sure moment of what happens next. I think Max has to be doing as well as he possibly can living in a world of such inventions. I wonder how these last couple of days before Christmas are being lived by him. I can't imagine that Santa could be pulled by the sheer force of one's will better than Max can do it.
What's best from your story is the sheer fun of it all and reliving the moments, however possible, to elicit laughter all over again! These are all terrific ideas, worthy of everyone trying, because they can never come out wrong.
